We understand that life can be hectic pulling you in different directions. This can make it difficult to pause and find the time to make appointments and seek out treatments we know our body and mind needs. Here at On The Run PT we are innovating how patients receive physical therapy offering not only expert care but unparalleled convenience. Our model is one on one care to provide our patients with a customized experience; accommodating your busy schedule with nights and weekend availability.
We treat all age groups and a wide range of orthopedic and sports injury including neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle pain. The story of your illness deserves to be heard and met with a practitioner who has the time and expertise to provide you with individualized solutions. We can help you achieve better outcomes by providing quality, because ultimately that is how you get better.
We are the alternative to the "mill" model of care for those patients seeking better quality solutions to their ailments. No more hand offs to aides and ineffective one-size-fits-all treatments. You will receive evidence based, highly specific treatments, one on one care for 40 minutes. Our job is to provide better outcomes for our patients and we don't take that lightly.
Our model differs form the typical clinic in that we do not participate with major insurance providers. Insurance companies reimbursements are too low for clinics to remain viable, forcing clinics to see higher volumes to remain financially afloat. In such cases, therapists will be instructed to see as many as 3-5 patients an hour hindering quality, progress and achieving outcomes. Our treatment philosophy is to provide individualized focused one on one sessions requiring us to separate from how insurance companies dictate we provide care.
It's not only that you can move but how you move. We uncover your body's selection of movement strategies and aim to adjust them according to each patients clinical presentation.
Manual therapy is an effective tool, facilitating changes in our bodies via sensory input. Utilizing a systematic evaluation, we determine which tissues are involved allowing for specific joint mobilizations, soft-tissue and myo-fascial work as well as a variety of taping techniques to help reduce pain and return to function.
We prescribe exercises selected specifically to address the patients underlying root of weakness and dysfunction. For us, it's not only about 3 sets of 10, but making sure we are recruiting and activating the correct muscles in the correct sequence in the given exercise.
Helping patients achieve greater surgical outcomes by offering expert rehabilitation before and after surgery.
